Move, Monaco: For Those Who Have Forgotten
A look back at a week of campaigning for World Alzheimer’s Day 2026
Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco
From 15 to 21 September 2026, Monaco rallied round a common cause: Alzheimer’s disease, its prevention and support for those affected by it and their loved ones.
Through Monaco Bouge Pour Ceux Qui Oublient, the AMPA brought together the general public, sporting partners, institutions, professionals and numerous volunteers for a week dedicated to exercise, sharing and solidarity.
A week to get active, come together and raise awareness
From ‘Force & Vitalité’ to stand-up paddleboarding, from Afro dance to aqua aerobics, via meditation, Qi Gong, Zumba, yoga and aquathlon, everyone was able to find a way to get involved and get active for the cause.
These sporting events provided opportunities to get together, discover new disciplines and reinforce a key message: physical activity is one of the key factors in prevention and cognitive health.

The route formed a loop between Mareterra and Boulevard du Larvotto, before returning to the starting point, as participants came together to send a message of solidarity and awareness.

THANK YOU
This week would not have been possible without the commitment of our partners, our coaches, our volunteers and everyone who bought a wristband, took part in an activity or simply shared our message.
Thank you to everyone who got Monaco moving for those who have forgotten.
