Cognitive decline processes are slowed down or occur later in people who remain “intellectually” active.

To keep your brain healthy and in good shape:

  • Read a newspaper, magazine or book every day;
  • Do mental exercises; play cards, chess, crossword puzzles or Sudoku;
  • Play music, sing or dance;
  • Learn a foreign language, for example: you may progress more slowly, but it is a worthwhile effort!
  • Above all, look for intellectual activities that you enjoy and that fit in with your habits and passions.
