For World Alzheimer’s Day 2011, AMPA helped organize a performance of the play “Ma Mémoire part en vacances” (“My Memory Goes on Vacation”)—written by and featuring Evelyne and Alain Azéma—in the Principality on September 30, 2011.
The play tells the story—with great emotion and humor—of the daily life of a couple of musicians following an Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis. After the performance, there was an opportunity for the audience to engage in a discussion with specialists in Alzheimer’s disease.
